Three years of age is a good time to start your children’s dental visits.
We suggest that you bring them along with you when you have your regular check up, so they can watch and get an idea of what goes on at the dentist. We also recommend that you watch some children’s programs that have a dental theme…. There is Peppa goes to the dentist etc… The first visit we make very pleasant we just count and clean their teeth. They can watch in the mirror or watch something on the overhead screen. Hopefully no problems are observed. If there is anything that needs attending too we discuss and plan future appointments. The child is rewarded with a tooth brush given oral hygiene instructions, a sticker and one of Lynette’s balloon animals.
